This is my personal worst nightmare right here, of not having all that information before a flight when I get to the airport. I can only imagine the sort of frantic calling and conversations that would have been going on between the OP, the cab driver, and the receptionist at the Guesthouse while they all hunted for it.

They were able to make the flight, which is a turn of fortune in these circumstances; too many have missed the flight when such a disaster comes along and left them having to spend a little too much money and time to make up for it. But here, that’s travel, eh? Always has the risk.
