5. What is Time, if Not an Illusion?
The 24-hour time-keeping system has become the fairly standard formatting globally, with few exceptions. Unfortunately, there are some who use the 12-hour system, which can cause confusion for both those living in the countries that follow them as well as for those from outside.
Of all countries in the world, only 18 use the 12-hour format unless it is related to something like a military operation, as the ambiguity of the 12-hour system can be not just confusing but dangerous in the circumstances. This story is proof of just how confusing it can get.
